Ronald Reagan Building Channels Iconic D.C. via Pop Art at 2016 Sparkle Lounge

In Local & Events, Projects & Clients by District Maven

Of the many events I attend throughout the year, there is no denying that the ones held at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center are undoubtedly my favorite. And it isn’t because they’re a client, either. (I can’t wait to unveil their new website I’ve been working on!)

The dynamite team at the RRB goes beyond event planning and truly creates experiences for guests from every angle; few venues have the capacity to maintain on theme food, drinks, swag bags, wall decor and furniture.

The RRB’s greatest event of the year (in my opinion) is Sparkle Lounge, which in the past had been a much larger (and wilder) affair. For their 2016 edition however, they relocated to a smaller space within in the building and made the typically open guest list far more exclusive. Despite my initial skepticism, the Ronald Reagan Building delivered as always. The smaller, more mature affair nicely complemented the attending crowd, while iconic D.C. landmarks and images were represented by pop art strategically placed around the Pavilion. (I also ate my face off — their culinary team knows how to craft some dangerously delicious bites!)
