Bienvenidos! Known for its spacious patio, daily happy hour, weekend bottomless brunch and multiple private event spaces, Mission is a restaurant and bar located in Dupont Circle steps from the Metro station. Located in a large renovated turn of the century townhouse, Mission’s features includes brick walls, antique sconces, reclaimed wood ceilings and a large main bar with a glass atrium ceiling. The menu includes Mexican cuisine with favorites like enchiladas, ten different kinds of tacos, wings and chorizo sliders, as well as delicious margaritas. Mission offers happy hour seven days a week until 7 pm, starting at 5 pm Monday-Wednesday and 4pm Thursday-Sunday.
Starting at 11 am on weekends and some holidays, Mission serves brunch, including DC’s best bottomless special. Mission’s brunch menu includes favorites like bennies, breakfast tacos and burritos and chilaquiles, as well as lunch items. The bottomless special includes choice of one entree, endless chips, salsa and guac and two hours of bottomless mimosas, margaritas, bloody mary’s, Tecate and a shot of El Jimador. Reservations for brunch are highly recommended.
Mission now offers late night food, with the kitchen staying open until 1 am on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Menu options include quesadillas, nachos, guacamole, queso and elote loco. [Description via, Photos via]
